The Penang Golf Club, the only championship 18-hole golf course on Penang Island, welcomes golfers to check out its rolling fairways, manicured and undulating greens. Our fairways and tee boxes are surfaced with Bermuda grass while the greens are of Tif Dwarf making for fast and exciting golfing. On the course, golfers can glimpse a stunning panoramic view of Penang including her two bridges that link Penang Island to the Malaysian mainland. Lush green vegetation and hills surround the course and chirping birds add to an atmosphere of bringing golfers close to nature. Flora of tropical and fruit tress and herbs like the palm, durian, angsana, pineapple, tecoma, pandan, and coconut add character and a local tropical touch to the golf course.

The 5,848 meter par 72 course has sand bunkers at strategic places, water hazards encroaching into the playing area and rolling fairways that goes up and downhill making club selection and stance all the more important to hit the greens on regulation. The Penang Golf Club was the venue for the 31st Malaysian Open in 1992 that was won by Mr.Vijay Singh. The Professional Golf of Malaysia recognized Penang Golf Club with their 2018’s best golf course maintenance award and annually stages their tournaments here and foreign professional players from the world over are staunch supporters of this tournament. The Golf Open Tournament and the Asia Development Tour Golf Open Championships are also held here at the Penang Golf Club. Other than the golf course proper, the Penang Golf Club has a 32-bay, two-tier, driving range that is 250 meters long and a practice putting-green.

Professional lessons are available for those interested in taking up the game with Japanese and local staff at hand to make the players feel at home.

A. Terms & Conditions for Corporate Rate

  1. Rates are quoted on per person basis and in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) Excluding Malaysian Sales & Service Tax (SST) 8%.
  1. The above rates are subject to change without prior notification.
  1. The above rates are NOT VALID for tournaments or competitions.
  1. Should there be any confirmed tournament event, the Club reserves the right to cancel or amend bookings to on other alternative tee off-time or date.
  1. All golfers should report to the Golf Registration Counter at least thirty (30) minutes before the tee-off time and be at the tee-box at least ten (10) minutes before tee-off.
  1. Golf registration counter, opening hours are from 7.00am to 6.00pm daily.
  1. Our Tee-off time;
  •   Morning session, between 7.28am-9.30am
  •   Afternoon session, between 12.29pm-2.28pm
  1. All golf bookings are to be made in advance and subject to availability of the golf course.
  1. Two (2) balls per flight is allowed on Weekdays only.
  1. All flights must have a minimum of three (3) balls per flight on Weekends and Public Holidays.
  1. Food & Beverage (excluding alcohol) discount of 10% at the club outlets.
  1. Bookings will be confirmed upon successful processing of full payment only.
  1. Method of Payment can be made by wire transfer or credit card/ debit card. Bookings will only be confirmed upon receipt of cleared funds into our account; please furnish us with a copy of the bank transaction slip. Should there be any additional bank charges or deductions then these shall be borne by the said company or individual accordingly.

  1. After payment, No Cancellation Policy is essentially equivalent to No Return, No Refund Policy but allowed to amend bookings to on other alternative tee off-time or date.

      – Dress code, T-shirt with collars and sleeves for both men & ladies

      – Proper golfing shoes

      – No sharing of golf sets is  allowed

      – Strictly no rain checks

      – Caddy is mandatory

      – No follower and walkabout are allowed on the course

     – Players must adhere to all Clubs By-Laws of Penang Golf Club.

 B. Important Notes:

  1.             Kindly present your MFPC member eID for verification at the PGC Counter. The resort reserves
  2.           the right to adjust the rate if the guest fails to produce their member eID upon registration.
  3.          This agreement is valid until March 31, 2025.
  4.           Additional terms and conditions apply as per the website.
  5.           Guests of MFPC members are subject to visitor rates.
